What we collect, and what we do not

This page lists every piece of information this website stores about you, field by field. It is short because the site collects little.

The short version

No trackers, no advertising, and no card details

This site carries no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing you do here is sold, shared for marketing, or used to build a profile of you. We do not send marketing email.

No payment is taken on this site, so no card, UPI or bank detail is ever entered here or held by us. When online payment is added, it will run through a licensed payment gateway that handles those details on its own systems — they will not pass through ours.

What we collect

Three things, and only when you give them

Nothing on this list is gathered in the background. Each one is a form you chose to fill in.

An enquiryYour name, phone number, email address, the building you are asking about and your message. Kept so we can answer you and so we can find the enquiry again when you call about it.
An orderYour name, company, phone number, email address, delivery address, city, PIN code and any note you added, together with what you ordered and the totals. Kept as the record of the sale, which we are obliged to keep for tax purposes.
An account, if you make oneYour email address, a password we store only as a one-way hash and can never read, and the name, phone, company and delivery address you choose to save. The account exists to fill your next checkout in for you.
How it is held

Where it lives and who can see it

Your basket never leaves your browserItems you add are held in your own browser’s storage until you place an order. Nothing about a basket reaches us before that, and clearing your browser data clears it.
One cookie, and only if you sign inSigning in sets a single session cookie so the site knows it is still you. There are no advertising or analytics cookies to consent to, which is why this site has no cookie banner.
Who can read itSayyed Fire Integration staff, through the site’s admin area, which is password-protected and separate from customer accounts. Our hosting and database providers hold the data on our behalf under their own contracts and do not use it.
How long we keep itOrder records are kept as long as tax and warranty obligations require. Enquiries are kept while they are useful for answering you. Ask us to delete an account and we will, keeping only what an order record legally has to retain.
What you can ask forA copy of what we hold about you, a correction to it, or its deletion. Write to us and we will act on it. You can also simply sign in and edit your own saved details at any time.
