Quality is what survives the commissioning test
A fire system is bought once and depended on for twenty years, usually on the worst day the building has. This page says how we work so that it holds.
- Governed by
- NBC 2016 Part 4
- Equipment
- ISI-marked, to IS codes
- Handover
- Signed commissioning record
Quality is built in at every stage, not inspected in at the end
Quality is designed in at the survey, specified in the BOQ, bought from authorised distributors, installed by our own people, proved by test, and kept by the service visits that follow handover. No stage is treated as the one where quality is added, because a system is only as good as the weakest of them.
What that means in practice: the site decides the system rather than the catalogue, equipment is ISI-marked and supplied with its datasheet and test certificate, and nothing is handed over without a commissioning record the owner can give to the authority.
Seven practices behind that
The parent site lists these as reasons to choose the group. They are written here as what we do, so each one can be checked against the job.
Where each check sits
The same six stages run on every project, whatever its size.
- 01SurveySite walk-through, riser measurement, occupancy and hazard classification.
- 02DesignHydraulic calculations and drawings prepared for consultant and fire-brigade approval.
- 03SupplyEquipment from authorised distributors, delivered against a stamped BOQ.
- 04InstallFloor-by-floor execution planned around occupancy.
- 05TestPressure, flow and loop tests witnessed, with a signed commissioning record.
- 06MaintainInspection, extinguisher refilling and drill support under an annual contract.
Ask us how a system you already have would test today
We take over maintenance on installations we did not put in. The first visit is an inspection against the code, written up as a list you can act on.
